It measures 1 inch wide by 39.5 inches in woven length, not including the fringes. It is woven from very high quality wool. The powder horn pictured is not included. The strap is soft, strong and very nice quality. It was hand woven on an inkle loom. Made in the USA. From a smoke-free, pet-free, latex-safe weaving studio. Thanks for looking. If you prefer to use it without the fringes for your possibles bag or other things, you just need to sew over the end several times before cutting off the fringes to prevent it from fraying. It is back woven several times to prevent fraying but if you want to sew leather tabs or laces on, it will wear better of you stitch back and forth over the ends for security.
