Description: Bought a large box of these piston rings from Dixie Distributing when they went out of business. Selling 8 sets per listing, enough to do 8 engines. You can see the part number 228PR .030 in one of the pictures. Found that part number in an Old Dixie Distributing catalog that you can see in one of the other pictures (ignore the highlighted part number as that one is not it. It is found in the second section of that page but not highlighted) These are made for 1955 and later Harley Davidson big twin 74 cubic inch. That includes panheads and shovelheads. I believe the 74-in stopped in the late 1970s and after that they went to an 80 inch engine. These Rings will not fit the 80 in. Please note that this is older inventory and the boxes may be a little rough in condition.
