Description: Here is a very nice, used 1983-1987 Delco ETR AM/FM/Cassette with seek, scan, digital display and clock. The bezel is in nice condition as well as the covers and wrapper. The white lettering is near perfect. These 2700 series ETR radios were used in many GM vehicles as the optional high end radio. Chevy trucks in the mid 80's as well as K5 Blazers. This radio has been cleaned and fully serviced ready to install. Board connections all soldered, controls and switches cleaned, tape deck cleaned, lubed and checked, new drive belt installed. Old belt is taped to top cover. See all pictures of display, icons and tape direction arrows. **Note the Stereo LED is lit, many aren’t as they have multiplex circuit problems. Very nice looking trim, bezel is very nice, chrome trim, chrome tape deck buttons are very nice and lens looks perfect. A set of like new, used correct GM/Delco Chevy/Blazer/Pickup/GMC truck knobs with excellent chrome. Both shaft nuts, side clip and nut included. Also, the hard to find truck rear support bracket. Cleaned and detailed, ready to install. Please keep in mind these units are all 35 years old. I try to make them look and work as reliable as possible. I am a former Delco and Ford radio service tech of almost 40 years. These are not "worked when removed 20 years ago", “tested”, "powered up, but not fully tested" whatever that means, or "condition unknown" specials here. You can buy another one for a few hundred $$$ that probably doesn't work, and then spend another few hundred $$$ to get it working. That's if you can find someone to service 40 year old Delco radios. Several hours are spent on these units doing service and maintenance. Winning bidder to pay $30.00 USPS Priority Mail shipping with insurance, carefully packed. I've been an eBayer for over 24 years. ***I had quite a few of these last year, don't miss out! These are getting hard to find! ***I am taking all of my listings down mid November. Won't be re-listed until sometime next year. ***Please read: Since I recently got handed my my 1st Negative feedback in over 25 years, I must address this "issue" that was brought to my attention on a Delco C/K DNR cassette I recently sold. I have absolutely NO control of the orientation of the graphics on the C/K Truck knobs. This crybaby was not happy that I couldn't "adjust the volume control shaft inside" to make the music symbol stand straight up when the radio was turned off. Really? These units were mass produced with parts from multiple vendors to GM/Delco. The mass produced plastic knobs had a glued in aluminum insert. I highly doubt any of them were perfect. I checked a dozen sets I have and found 1 or 2 that came close. We didn't make the parts, we didn't make the knobs. I worked for a GM/Delco Targets For Excellence awarded Electronics Remanufacturing Center as a technician for more than 30 years. I was also a Ford radio tech for nearly 40 years. We remanufactured electronic components to GM and Ford Quality Standards for decades, not just something we dreamed up. When the GM bean counters moved Remanufacturing to Mexico, everything went downhill to save a few bucks. I still have some of the finest Delco and Ford radios found here. You just can't please some people even after offering them a complete refund since they weren't happy. That wasn't good enough I guess.
