Book protected with a clear, archival Grafix Dura Lar dust wrapper. CONDITION: No names or inscriptions in ink, no ex-libris. Text block firm, square and intact as are external and internal hinges. Minor faint marks to vellum spine. Light foxing to front edge of text block. Few spots to front and rear pastedowns and free endplates (see photos) with similar light foxing to a handful of pages at the top blank page margin (see photos). Overall, a clean and highly collectible copy. DISCUSSION: A wonderful collection of French fairy tales and fables with sympathetic color illustrations by Edmund Dulac, which capture the French flavor of the stories.
