He has been awarded top honors in many noted exhibitions throughout Europe. In 1949 he first introduced his famous original oil paintings on tile in U.S. * I have seen the identical label with M. Maresca instead of A. Maresca which leads me to the conclusion that it is the same person. * A. MARESCA incised on small brass plate tacked to frame. * Frame in excellent condition. 9 3/4" x 9 3/4" overall.
