Description: A "Used" Golfsmith, Elasteel, ES-255, 56 Degree Loft Sand Wedge! I think I finally found the answer to searching for info on golf clubs. Wiki-Pedia really came through with more info than I can put in this description of this Sand Wedge. GolfSmith was founded in 1967 by Carl & Barbara Paul as a home business. In 1998, GolfSmith absorbed Lynx, Snake Eyes, and Zevo Golf. In 2012 they were taken over by a Canadian Pension Fund, and in 2016 filed bankruptcy and were absorbed by Dicks Sporting Goods. Today the GolfSmith brand sells everything related to golf from clubs to golf clothing and accessories. However, I did not find any info on what ES-255 means, but it is probably a proprietary name for the clubs Elasteel feature. I don't know whatthe metal(s) composition is, so it must be an industry secret. The Shaft is a True Temper Sensacore, but there is nothing saying the flex, but I'm guessing Stiff. The Grip feels like it has fur on it, and appears to be crumbling. As a bonus, when this Sand Wedge sells, I will install a NEW grip of my choice for Free. It will be a good "named" grip, nothing chintzy. Club will be protectively packages and shipped USPS Ground Advantage!
