Bottom corners and tail cap are very lightly rubbed, otherwise exterior is smooth and clean. Boards are sound, spine is straight, binding remains tight, hinges and joints are taut, and corners are sharp. Interior is immaculate - pages are crisp, fresh, and bright. No markings, foxing, tears, stains, or wrinkles. Dust jacket shows toning to edges and spine panel, a small, closed tear to the bottom edge of spine panel, a small hole to the edge of the back panel, and the edge of the front panel has a scratch. Still, title and illustrations are mainly unaffected, and remain vibrant. Jacket is unclipped, though in the second state the price is missing from interior flap. First edition, second state.
