Description: Autographed Baseball card of Alice "Lefty" Hohlmayer, who played in the All American Girls Professional Baseball League, which was in existence from 1943-1954. This is the league that the movie "A League of Their Own" was based on. Lefty played 1B and Pitcher, back of card gives a detailed summary of her stats and career highlights. She played for the Kenosha Comets, Peoria Redwings and the Muskegon Lassies. Because of the type of paper and ink they used, there is a light bleed through of the autograph to the back of the card. The autographs were obtained in person by me when I hired the ladies to sign autographs at shows in the Pacific NW during the mid 1990's. Great authentic piece for your collection! Be sure to see the over 50 autographed photos, cards and balls I have listed in my store at this time. Items for which I have not received payment for within ten business days I reserve the right to relist.
