Description: I’ve always been fascinated by Abraham Lincoln, ever since I was a small fry. We had books and paintings and even a statuary head. I think it was the stories about how he was given too much change and walked a hundred miles to return it. I also liked that he fought against slavery, and I felt really bad that one of his children died. Now that I’m all grown, (contrary to what you may have heard), I still like the guy. And I love this book! Look at the bright and curious illustrations! I’m also obsessed with the early 1800’s and how much I would have hated all the chores!! But Abe was a good lad, did some chores, fought that war, and if you share some of these stories with your children, they could grow up to be just as nostalgic and silly as me, or as honest and hardworking as Abe. This is a clear win-win. The book is old, so the condition is probably “good.” The spine is becoming a tiny bit loose, but it is not separated and pages are bound in well. There is an inscription on the front endpaper. Corners and all edges are frayed and soft and worn, like one would expect a loved child’s book to become!
