Description: Warm greetings from Japan. Thank you very much for visiting our listing. The "GALLAGHER GL-10" was manufactured by Terada Gakki in the late 1980s. Serial are 212162. It is one of the few Gallagher models in Japan and is rare. In the 80s, many musicians loved it. Jiro Sugita and others have been using it a lot lately as a favorite vessel. Gallagher, one of the few remaining collectors, does not appear muchso it was rare item. It looks tanned and thin, but it retains its new luster without cracking. There are threads due to aging, but there is no fatal damage. The height adjustment is set to low strings without cracks, and high chords are also quite easy to play. With end pin alloy, the sustain elongation is good. I am replacing it with pegs and grohers. There is a stiff screw hole in the front peg base. Basic specifications: The front plate is a spruce veneer, the side and back are maple plywood, and the tiger maple familiar . Gilts are also made of maple wood. The neck is mahogany, the fingerboard is rosewood, and the position mark is snowflake, which is very stylish. Wood with tiger stripes is a rare material. Although it is made of plywood, it has a high frequency like rolling a bell like Gilt 30R, and the low frequency does not have the power to sound like a D-45, but it has a feeling that the G and C chords are well balanced. It looks like it is mixed with the unique wavy chords of the Yamaha FG series so it is just personal subjectivity. The head also has a tiger pattern, which is very elaborate and beautiful. There are marks and age-related use, but it is beautiful. There is no major damage on the exterior and probably it is in good condition. The neck looks straight. The current string height is adjusted to 12F, 1st string: 1.8 mm (0.07 inch), 6th string: 2 mm (0.07 inch), and high chords are very easy to pull. Probably there are more than 80% of the frets left.
