Description: CONDITION: Excellent, no defects. Porcelain oyster or clam plate was produced in France by Charles Ahrenfeldt Limoges between 1890 and 1930. It was produced and decorated at the factory. The plate measures 8 3/4 inches in diameter and has 6 clam shells with a salt dip in the center. The sea life decoration is a hand colored transfer design. Different types of mollusks and seaweed are displayed in bright colors. Garlands of flowers combine with the sea life. There is rich gilding around the wells and on the scalloped rim. #E679 IMPORTANT: PLEASE DO NOT PAY until you have purchased all the items you plan to bid on.
