Description: This is a very special vintage AKRIS handbag that was woven from Native Mongolian Hair. Horsehair is cut from the long tails of free-roaming horses, making it a cruelty-free, sustainable material. The material is turned into precious fabrics on historic looms. The resulting weave is lightweight yet incredibly resilient. The Ai can be carried in three different ways: When opened it is a Rectangular Shopper, with the corners folded inside and secured with the turn lock it becomes the Pure Trapezoid Tote, and with the corners folded on the outside and closed with the turn lock, it is the Signature Tote. I’ve included pictures to try and show the excellent condition of this bag. There are no markings, scratches on the fabric or silver hardware. This handbag is in near mint/excellent condition.
