Ali Frazier Fight of the Century Closed Circuit Poster Framed Not Reproduction

Description: This is an Original Poster for the local Closed-Circuit showing in Jackson, Tennessee of the Fight of the Century in 1971 with Muhammad Ali versus Joe Frazier. I took the poster off a building myself in Jackson shortly after the fight. Lambuth College was located there then and is now called University-Memphis-Lambuth. It appears that the Lambuth location for ticket sales was either a mistake or they changed it to The New Southern Hotel which now is a venue for weddings etc. Either way the hand written correction seems to add some uniqueness and originality to the item. The poster itself stayed in my parents attic from late 1971 to 1985 when they sold the house. That is where I think the color changed to the tan (slightly darker) color now present. I had it framed sometime after 1985 at The Great Frame Up in Phoenix, AZ. Here are the measurements in inches which are to be considered approximate: Frame Outside 26 3/4 x 19 1/2Frame Inside 24 3/4 x 17 1/2Mat Width Top & Bottom 1 3/4Mat Width Sides 2 1/4Poster Visible Inside Mat 21 1/4 x 13Frame Thickness/Height 7/8 I have had it framed so long I cannot remember the condition of the edges of the poster. There may be a small corner missing and thumb tack holes, though none of that is visible with the matting. The frame is tight and the corners are good as seen in the photographs. The glass is non glare. I do not know what the dark spots are on the back but it could be re-papered at a framing shop and maybe some of those border questions could be answered Packing: First I wrapped it in some foam sheet I have from a furniture store. I then took 3/4 inch Styrofoam sheet I have packed on both flat sides with 2 sheets on the top and one one the bottom and all 4 sides. On the top and bottom is a layer of cardboard and it is all taped together. Then I made a custom cardboard box to surround it and extra taped it. This item is non returnable or refundable.
