Description: This is a first press of Alice Coopers 1971 album Love it to death released on Frank Zappa’s Straight records. This is the original uncensored thumb cover which Alice placed in the opening of his clothes to resemble a penis. It was later etched out. The jacket itself has wear as seen in the photos. The gatefold and spine are clean. The straight record insert sleeve has a slight opening on the bottom and one side as pictured. The record is a low VG+, with both sides having a visible scratch mark. However both of these marks look much worse then they are, they both can’t be felt with the finger and don’t affect the music. I call these ‘stoner scratches’, most likely happening when someone moved the needle too much while under the influence. The record is still in very good shape for its rarity and age.
