AMAZON KINDLE - BOOK yellowpages.com + ENTREPRENEURyellowpages.com mastermind

Description: Important Message for All AMAZON KINDLE Book Authors Important Message for All AMAZON KINDLE BOOK AUTHORS The ability to list and sell an unlimited number of print books, ebooks, and audiobooks, on a new advertising platform called BookYellowPages.com The normal investment to advertise on this platform is $197 a year. In order to jumpstart this online community of book authors and book readers I have decided to let the first 20,000 author advertisers list and sell an unlimited amount of books for a one time fee of only $197 instead of the yearly fee of $197. Special EBAY OFFER - take another 50% off. Only $97 one time fee to advertise all of your books on BOOKYellowPages.com You will kick yourself if you pass up on this incredible opportunity. Plus, you will also get access to a special MASTERMIND GROUP called EntrepreneurYellowPages.com when the site launches. Think of it as "FACEBOOK for Entrepreneurs". Amazon stinks for Book Authors. Read below on Why Amazon stinks and all about this new advertising platform called BookYellowPages.com You are going to love what you read. Take 10 minutes of your time to read this message - I promise you it will be worth it and you will learn something. Why Amazon and Jeff Bezos STINK to HIGH HEAVEN for Book Authors, Book Publishers, and Book Readers ONE Selling on Amazon is Based around a BIG FAT LIE. And that lie is that it is free to advertise your books on Amazon. Not true my friend. If you have to pay a percentage of your book sales to Amazon then it is certainly not free at all. Think about that for a moment. Advertise for free, and then give up a huge chunk of the money to Amazon if and when a book sale is made = NOT FREE! If you sell no copies or very few copies of your book on Amazon then Amazon is of little value to you. If you sell many copies of your book there then you get punished in a big way. TWO Amazon pays authors and publishers royalties. And these royalty payments STINK. It starts with the fact that Amazon is taking a PERCENTAGE of the retail price of your book. If you are selling Kindle books you only get a 35% royalty payment if your book is priced below $2.99 or above $9.99. This means Jeff Bezos and the other owners of Amazon are taking 65% of YOUR BOOK SALE MONEY. If you sell your kindle book between $2.99-$9.99 you will get a 70% royalty and Amazon will keep 30%. For print books it varies on who is the publisher of the book but Amazon will still keep a big percentage for themselves. THREE So we know that the royalty payments stink. You should be keeping 100% of the money for yourself instead of giving up a huge percentage to Amazon. The other problem is that you have to wait to get these royalty payments, often 60-90 days. Wouldn't it be better if you could receive payment immediately when you make a book sale? You can if you sell books directly to your book buyers instead of selling them on websites like Amazon. FOUR Jeff Bezos thinks kindle books should be priced between $2.99-9.99. How do we know this? Because he punishes authors and publishers when they sell books outside of this range by giving you a smaller royalty payment. This of course devalues the ebook market because many ebooks are worth a lot more than $9.99. In fact, ebooks should be priced higher than print books if we are talking about non-fiction titles. Ebooks should contain more specialized knowledge and have a more narrow focus. This enables you to charge higher prices. In other words, Bezos and crew are trying to "price fix" the ebook market. Not for the benefit of book readers and book authors but for the benefit of maximum money for himself and his shareholders. Lower prices = more sales = more profit for them and not for you. Don't devalue your information, knowledge, and wisdom. You get little respect selling knowledge for less than ten bucks. Many people pay more than $9.99 for toilet paper. You should value yourself, value your knowledge, and charge more than $9.99 for your non-fiction book. Fiction is entertainment so it is worth whatever somebody is willing to pay to be entertained, and is often compared to other entertainment choices people have available to them. But even with fiction you can always charge more than $9.99. FIVE Because Jeff Bezos keeps a percentage of your sales price this creates a HORRIBLE and DISCRIMINATORY situation. We have laws in America, and rightfully so, that prohibits entrepreneurs from discriminating against people based on their race, religion, sex, etc. Can you imagine eating out at a restaurant and they have different prices for different skin colors? That isn't going to fly in America (or other countries) in the 21st century. I'm not calling Jeff Bezos and Amazon racist by any means but they engage in the same discriminatory behavior as racists. The way Jeff does it is by CHARGING DIFFERENT PRICES FOR PROVIDING THE EXACT SAME SERVICE. It doesn't cost Amazon any more money to deliver a kindle book that costs 99 cents or one that costs $99 because it is an automated process. However, the price being charged to the author is VERY DIFFERENT. Can you imagine paying Amazon $65 if you sell a kindle book for $100, and at the same time Amazon is charging other authors a few pennies to deliver a kindle book to customers. This is not a small thing. Amazon discriminates not only against book authors and publishers but against EVERY ENTREPRENEUR who sells on their website. They punish you for selling at higher prices because they charge you differently even though they are providing you the exact same service that they offer lower priced sellers. All based on the faulty "WE TAKE A PERCENTAGE OF THE SALES PRICE BUSINESS MODEL". Works just like the American tax system. Let's tell people to go to school, study hard, but if you make more money than others we will punish you for doing so by charging you a different tax rate than other Americans who earn less than you. No book author, and no entrepreneur, who lists their products on Amazon should have to pay more just because they sell at higher prices than other authors or entrepreneurs. The price you set for your book is a marketing decision that you make. Amazon shouldn't be punishing you because you decided to charge what you feel your knowledge is worth. There is a better business model available to you and it is what BookYellowPages is all about. BookYellowPages.com is an advertising platform where book authors sell books directly to book readers. You can list an unlimited number of print books, ebooks, and audiobooks for sale. And you get to keep 100% of your book sale money. The investment is normally $197 per year to advertise and sell an unlimited number of books. However, if you are one of the first 20,000 author advertisers you can advertise your books on this platform for a one time fee of only $197. How's that for some love to you? Forget about your books for a moment. I can show you how to make more money than that just selling the books and products of others. SPECIAL LIMITED OFFER - The First 20,000 author advertisers will have the opportunity to invest $197 for a lifetime account (one time fee account). Do it Today - You'll kick yourself if you miss out on this incredible offer. $197 for a lifetime account should be a no-brainer for any profit-minded author. I can pretty much predict in advance who is going to snatch up these 20,000 lifetime advertiser accounts for a one time fee of $197. It will be self-published ebook authors. There are millions of ebook authors out there because delivering digital books online is very easy to do. And if you don't know how to do it we will teach you. Even if you are not an author yet you need to grab one of these lifetime accounts so that you'll have a place to advertise and sell your book when you do complete your first book. You can even start a "pre-launch" email list so that you'll have a list of book readers waiting for when you do launch. Doesn't that sound like a better business model for you, the author? SIX One of the worst things about listing and selling your book on Amazon is that you don't know who your book buyers are. You are not building your customer list but instead you are allowing Jeff Bezos to build his customer list. He does not share who bought the book with the author. THE NORMAL WAY OF DOING BUSINESS: Usually you generate a lead, and then via a series of marketing communications you convert that lead into a customer. THE BACKWARDS AMAZON WAY OF DOING BUSINESS: On Amazon, you first get a customer but it is not your customer it is the customer of Amazon. Book authors then put some kind of lead magnet (free offer) in their book to try and capture the contact information of their book buyers. They won't capture them all but they will capture some. Now, it is smart to put a free offer in your book to try and capture the contact information of your book buyers. The dumb part is the fact that you put yourself in this situation to begin with by choosing to list your books on Amazon. Not knowing who your customers are is one of the dumbest things that any entrepreneur could ever do in business. A business usually only has 2 major things of value: (1) Its customer database, and (2) its intellectual property. Everything else in a business can be replaced with money. Restaurant owners do this all the time. You walk in, eat your meal, pay with cash or card, and walk out. The owner has no idea who you are and therefore has no way of communicating with you in the future. A restaurant owner who captures the name and address of their customers will earn a lot more money than an owner who does not. Why? Because they have an asset that has value, and when business is slow they can communicate with their customers and drive people to the restaurant by making them a special offer to do so. Any restaurant owner who doesn't capture the names, email addresses, and physical addresses of their customers is seen as a dummy in the business world. Retail stores make this same mistake all the time as well. They have no clue who their customers are and therefore they can't control the marketing of their own business. Building your customer list is RULE #1 in business so that you can make sales happen instead of wishing they happen. Everybody, including book authors, who choose to sell their products on Amazon is making the same dumb mistake. You are building the customer list of Jeff Bezos and not building your own which means you may have your intellectual property, your book, but you are missing the most important source of value and that is the CUSTOMER LIST. Not good my author friend, not good at all. SEVEN The sales page for authors on Amazon is horrible. Ask any copywriter who gets paid to write words that sell effectively if the sales page for books is a good one and they will fall off their chair laughing at you. They know that what sells best is a FOCUSED OFFER, one without distractions. The sales page at Amazon has so many distractions (links that people can click on) that it is embarrassing to call it a sales page. Amazon is only interested in one thing - maximum revenue for themselves. They are not there to serve you, the author, in a manner that is best for you and your goals. So, they put links everywhere that people can click on and leave your book page faster than an Olympic sprinter. This of course includes pictures and links to other books that your potential customers might be interested in. Nothing like having Amazon put the books of other authors on your book page and do it because they can. Did they forget to ask you if they could do that? Amazon only wants to catch the eye of a buyer so that a sale of some kind is made. This doesn't serve you and only hurts you. At BookYellowPages we encourage you to create deals with other authors, and perhaps list their books next to yours, but we believe that should be YOUR CHOICE TO DO SO, and you should never be forced to have the offers of others all over your book sales page. That's true service to authors. EIGHT Amazon has a BIG GIGANTIC MONSTROUS RULE and it is a horrible rule for authors. And that rule is that you are not allowed to sell your book anywhere else for a lower price. Here again, Amazon is trying to control you, and to inhibit your marketing choices. You should be allowed to sell your books where you want, when you want, and for whatever price you want. Amazon wants money for themselves and that's why this rule is in place. They want to undercut any other book seller in order to increase the odds that a book purchase is made from them. Again, they are not serving you, the author, with this rule in place. They are selfish human beings engaging in selfish (evil - in my opinion) behavior. Amazon is so evil when it comes to undercutting other book sellers that they will sometimes sell your book at a loss. Yes, they will lose money when selling your book because they know they will eventually get the profit when THEIR CUSTOMER, NOT YOUR CUSTOMER, makes another purchase of some kind. NINE One of the BIG MONKEYS in the room when it comes to Amazon is that books are not the only thing they sell. Amazon sells over 500 million products and your book is just one of them. It gets lost on a website with that many products available to purchase. Many of the website visitors to Amazon are not interested in books at all. So, don't fall for the scam that Amazon gets a ton of website traffic. They do but most are not book buyers and are not searching for books at all. Amazon doesn't create the website traffic anyway. It is the entrepreneurs, such as book authors, who create the traffic by enabling over 500+ million products for sale. Any website with that much stuff for sale will generate website traffic. It is not Jeff and Amazon that makes Amazon valuable. It is the book authors and other entrepreneurs who make it valuable, and those same people can make another website valuable by choosing to list their products for sale on that website instead of listing them on Amazon. They just need to WORK TOGETHER as a team. BookYellowPages hopes to be that website in the book publishing industry. Other book authors are NOT YOUR COMPETITION. They are your FREE WEBSITE TRAFFIC PARTNERS! When 100,000+ authors work as a team they can generate millions of website visitors to any website. BookYellowPages is focused on listing one type of product - BOOKS. This creates a FOCUSED WEBSITE where book buyers are not distracted by 500+ million items for sale at the click of their mouse button. TEN Another major problem with Amazon is 3rd party sellers. When another seller lists used books for sale on Amazon the book author does not receive any kind of payment when a sale is made. This is not good. It creates a situation where the authors are competing with 3rd party sellers. BookYellowPages DOES NOT allow such sales to take place on its advertising platform. The only people who can list books for sale are the authors of those books. And that truly serves the author and is business done right. ELEVEN Jeff Bezos is not good for the book industry and never has been good for the book industry (in my opinion) based on all the reasons above. An evil thing that Amazon does is that they invite entrepreneurs to sell on their website and then copies and tries to compete with those same entrepreneurs. In other words, Amazon pays attention to what sells on its site, and then if something is selling well it will try to source that product or create a similar product and become competition to the entrepreneurs who list their products on the site. Is that evil or what? I once saw a TV special where this was being revealed and the reporter asked "Why would Jeff and Amazon do this?" The response came back, "Because He Can!" Jeff Bezos even testified before Congresss and admitted to engaging in this evil behavior. Punishment? None at all. Amazon is not only bad for the book industry but is bad for all business. Jeff Bezos has destroyed the local bookstore for sure but he has destroyed all kinds of local businesses. Jeff gets richer and richer while local entrepreneurs close their doors. Most consumers don't even care if they destroy their own neighborhood if it means they will save a buck or two by purchasing on Amazon. I hope you care my author friend. Another major reason why Jeff Bezos and Amazon are bad for the book industry is that they don't believe in freedom of speech. Amazon has an agenda. If your book doesn't line up with their agenda they will remove your book or just won't allow it to be listed on their site at all. This has happened to many authors. One day that had books for sale, and the next day they are all removed. No explanation given by Amazon. This is not SERVICE. This is not how you treat your fellow human beings. At BookYellowPages we believe in our Constitutional freedoms and one of the most important ones is freedom of speech. We don't believe in silencing anyone. If your information is not true the marketplace will expose you for being a fraud. We know there will be many authors that we disagree with, or even don't like very much at all, who will list their books on this website. That's OK. We believe everybody has a right to be heard and the marketplace (book readers) will expose the liars of the world and we won't have to. If you can't back up your claims then it is you, the author, who will take the punishment from the marketplace. We don't have to try and silence those who may not share our worldview. At BookYellowPages you are free to teach and entertain - just no sexual content, threats, hate speech, etc. The internet is filled with stories and headlines about how Amazon is mistreating its employees. There seems to be another bad story about Amazon every week of the year. As I write this there is a petition that 70,000 people have signed to stop Jeff Bezos from returning to earth after his trip to space next month (July 2021). I would say that if more people knew the truth about Jeff Bezos and Amazon millions of people would sign such a petition. TRUST ME - Amazon could disappear tomorrow and you would still be able to buy everything you currently buy on Amazon. And it would better serve you, the consumer, if you purchased things directly from the people who make them instead of buying them on sites like Amazon. These are not the kind of people that you should be doing business with (in my opinion). List and sell your books on BookYellowPages and you will be treated with the honor and respect that you deserve instead of being used and abused (in my opinion) by Amazon. TWELVE Amazon and Jeff Bezos thrive not because of their brilliance. They thrive because they take advantage of the uneducated book author, and other entrepreneurs. Book authors want to be lazy. They think building a website to sell books is hard to do. It's not. It's so darn easy that it is laughable. In fact, you don't even need your own website. BookYellowPages can serve as your website and you can send people directly to a checkout page to order. Book authors think it is hard to ship physical books and want Amazon to do it for them instead. If you want to be lazy my friend it always comes with a price and that price is that you will give up a huge percentage of your book sale money for choosing to be lazy. That is how the world works. If you want to remain lazy and uneducated there will always be people like Jeff Bezos who are waiting in the shadows to take advantage of you. All that you want to know about building websites, shipping books, delivering ebooks to customers to download, etc., can easily be learned and the BookYellowPages author community can teach you everything you need to know. THIRTEEN (For The Book Reader/Buyer) I want to finish this list with a message for the BOOK READER (Book Buyer). Jeff Bezos of Amazon is the richest person in the world. He doesn't need or deserve your BOOK MONEY in my opinion. Who does deserve it? The author who wrote the book. You know, the person who educates or entertains you. Most book authors will earn less money than the pimple-faced teenagers who press the "happy meal" buttons at their local McDonald's restaurant. Writing a book is not a path to riches for 99.9% of authors. There are many other reasons why authors choose to write books besides money. Many feel compelled to write. They have something "inside of them" that they must get out to the world. Others want to share their knowledge or entertain people. Some want to advance a cause of some sort. Sometimes it can enhance their career in some way. Others just want the personal satisfaction, and personal fulfillment of being a published author. Fame and fortune will only find such a small number of authors and there are numerous reasons for this to be the case. Most self-published authors will only sell around 250 copies of their book, and most traditionally published authors will sell around 1,000. When these same authors list their books on Amazon they won't earn much at all. The numbers simply don't add up and whatever sales they do make Amazon will take a huge percentage of it. I'm asking all Book Readers to stop supporting the richest person in the world with your BOOK MONEY and start supporting the authors who educate or entertain you. They deserve it more than someone who is a billionaire almost two hundred times over. At BookYellowPages you will purchase directly from the authors who write the books and they get to keep 100% of the money. We believe this is the right thing to do, the moral thing to do. Plus, when you purchase books on Amazon the author doesn't know who you are. This doesn't serve you, the book reader, because the author may be able to help you in other ways. They may offer more advanced training in online courses, seminars, coaching programs, other books, and much much more. This not only benefits the author but it benefits you the book reader because you will have a continuing relationship with the authors you love. Plus, when you purchase direct from authors you may be able to save money on your book purchases because the author doesn't have to pay any middlemen (such as Amazon) a percentage of the retail price. Many authors may choose to pass the percentage that they would normally have to pay Amazon as savings to you. If you are a book reader be sure to create your FREE BOOK READER account today on BookYellowPages. We are a community of book authors and book readers. Our goal is to have more than 100,000 author advertisers and have millions of book readers using this site. FOURTEEN The very worst thing about listing your books on Amazon is that book readers will continue to buy books from Amazon when you do so. As long as your book is there then readers will continue to shop there. We must get them to buy directly from you, the author. We feel that book authors SHOULD NOT list their books on Amazon for all the reasons above but most importantly because it doesn't serve book readers like BookYellowPages can. Book readers just want to save money at the end of the day. The greatest opportunity to save money on books is to purchase directly from the authors who write them. When you don't have a bunch of middlemen (such as Amazon) trying to get a piece of the money book authors have the power to pass along some money savings to their readers. This website will have a lot of "retail price" and "BookYellowPages price" options for book buyers. FINAL WORDS ABOUT AMAZON If authors will join forces and work as a team, and choose to advertise their books on BookYellowPages instead of Amazon, we can defeat Amazon and Jeff Bezos. There won't be any award or trophy for doing so and that is not why we are doing it. We are doing it because it serves book authors and book readers better. It is a superior alternative to Amazon based on all the reasons above. It won't happen overnight but it can happen if the authors of the world will unite as ONE POWERFUL FORCE FOR GOOD. It won't happen with 1,000 book advertisers, or even 10,000, but it will happen if we have 100,000 (or more) book authors working together to create a valuable website. This website can and will get millions of book buyers to shop on it when we work together and let every book reader know about it. People only visit websites if they are valuable. We must first create a valuable website by having many authors list their books on it, and then the website traffic will come as we promote this website in our marketing campaigns. I am calling upon all book publishers to inform their authors about this website. I am calling upon all the self-publishing service companies to inform their authors about this site. I am calling upon any company or entrepreneur who has access to authors. If we work together we can and will get noticed in the book industry, and the book buyers of the world will know our name and see this site as one of their top destinations to connect with authors, and purchase books from those authors. Amazon controls 50% of the U.S. book market. They are known as the world's #1 bookstore. For all the reasons above these things should not be true. Let's work together and make BookYellowPages the #1 online bookstore. After all, it is better for authors and better for book readers. Harry J. McKay (owner - BookYellowPages) P.S. Now read the article below and learn all about this amazing new book advertising platform called BookYellowPages. P.P.S. If you can add to this list, and can provide me with more reasons why Amazon stinks, then I invite you to contact me directly at: harry(at)harrysyellowpages.com About BOOKyellowpages.com Hello and Welcome to BookYellowPages. My name is Harry J. McKay, founder of Harry's YellowPages, LLC and the owner of BookYellowPages.com I am excited for you, the author, and the book publishing industry. As mentioned on this page, Jeff Bezos and Amazon are not good for the book publishing industry. They never have been. It all begins with a GIANT MISUNDERSTANDING of who has the power. Authors and book publishers think Jeff Bezos and Amazon have the power so they are at the mercy of Jeff and crew and must list their books on his site. This is TOTALLY FALSE. Book Publishers GIVE AMAZON power. Book Authors GIVE AMAZON power. And Book Readers GIVE AMAZON power when they make a book purchase there. Jeff Bezos and Amazon don't have power just because they exist. The power is given to them. And that is a good thing. Why? Because any power that is given can easily be taken away. If all the authors and book publishers would choose to list their books on BookYellowPages they would take the power away from Jeff and Amazon. And the great news is that they wouldn't be giving me, Harry J. McKay, the power. They would be giving themselves the power because they would be in control of their book sales instead of being held hostage by Amazon. THE OLD MODEL VERSUS THE NEW MODEL The problem is a simple one to recognize and to solve. Most books are low-priced. When the majority of books are priced between $5-40 there isn't much money left for marketing a book. If you self-publish then you usually will only have to deal with printing costs of your book, plus marketing or distribution costs, and whatever is leftover is your profit. If you go the traditional publishing route and have a publishing company publish your book then the problem is much worse. Many third-parties get involved and want a piece of your retail price as income for themselves. This may include an agent, distributors, wholesalers, retailers (such as Amazon), and of course your publisher. This doesn't leave a lot of money for the author and the royalty is often just $1-3 = not good. With that many people getting a share of the money there isn't really any money left for the most important part - the MARKETING OF THE BOOK. So what we have going on in the book industry today is very little book marketing and mostly what we call book distribution. Book authors and book publishers find themselves in a desperate financial situation and just try to list their books for sale wherever and whenever they can. This is not good because it sends book readers all over the internet. Many purchase on Amazon but if you have read the left side of this page then you know that is not the best option for the book author or for the book reader. I understand the situation that most book authors find themselves in and I feel you, I get you. You just want to sell some books, or if money is not important to you then you just want to get others to read your books even if you give them away for free (without causing you to lose your shirt in the process). Well, I've got good news for you. There is a BETTER BUSINESS MODEL. I call it the OLD WAY VERSUS THE NEW WAY. Authors (and every internet marketer) knows that it is darn hard to get website traffic (visitors) to a personal website. This is why 99% of the people who want to make money online fail to do so. They may have something that the world needs or wants but they can't figure out how to get "eyeballs" to their offer. So, in the book publishing industry, this problem seemed like it was solved when Amazon came along. List your books there, and you will get more eyeballs to your books then you could get to your personal website. Only one MAJOR PROBLEM. The problem is that it is not free to advertise on Amazon because Amazon keeps a huge amount of your money when a book sale is made. Plus, all the other negatives that come along with doing business with Jeff Bezos and Amazon. The old model was to list your books on a platform like Amazon, take the financial hit when you actually did make a book sale, and end up with no customer list that you could market future books (and other offers) to. Amazing how such a horrible business model became so popular in the book industry at all is quite disturbing. It reveals the very desperate situation that book publishers and authors find themselves in. Well, we at BookYellowPages believe there is a new model that is better for book authors, book publishers, and book readers. And that new model is to adopt the same intelligence about advertising on a platform to sell your books. The new model recognizes that book authors and book publishers ARE NOT desperate. They have always had the power but they chose to give it away. Well, it is time to take the power back. You don't want to be an author who is trying to drive website visitors to your personal website when you are selling a $20 book. You will lose money most of the time attempting that business model. Instead you want to work with other authors, team up with other authors, and list your books on a platform such as BookYellowPages. This creates a valuable website where book readers can flock to and the website traffic generated can be much greater than you could ever get to your personal website. Other book authors ARE NOT your competition. They are your FREE WEBSITE TRAFFIC PARTNERS. Now, here comes the good part. At BookYellowPages WE DON'T TAKE ANY OF THE RETAIL PRICE OF YOUR BOOK SALES AS INCOME the way that Amazon does. BookYellowPages is an ADVERTISING PLATFORM ONLY! We do not accept payments on your behalf and then cut you a small royalty check. Book authors list their books on our platform and sell directly to book readers. You can advertise ALL of your books - YES - ALL OF YOUR BOOKS - and you get to keep 100% of the money because book buyers are purchasing from you, the author, and not purchasing from us. Normal investment to list and sell an unlimited number of books on BookYellowPages is $197 a year. SPECIAL LIMITED OFFER - The First 20,000 author advertisers will have the opportunity to invest $197 for a lifetime account (one time fee account). Do it Today - You'll kick yourself if you miss out on this incredible offer. How? Because you will sell books directly to book readers on your own website (ideally). If you don't have a website (and don't want to build one) you can use BookYellowPages as your website. You can link directly to a checkout page. All that we ask is that you put these words above your checkout link: "Click the link below to purchase this book directly from the author". That's it. You can list your books for sale on our platform, and then send people directly to your shopping cart checkout page. Or send them to your personal website to purchase. The choice is yours. You have the power. You are in control. The most ideal situation, if making money from your books is your goal, is to self-publish your book and then sell directly to the public. If you book sells for $20 then you can often put $15 of that in your pocket as long as you don't have any marketing costs. If you are selling an ebook you can keep even more because it is a digital download delivered online = no printing or shipping necessary. BookYellowPages enables you to sell books to book buyers without having any marketing costs. You could sell a million books here and keep 100% of the money. Try selling a million books on Amazon and you will cry when you see how much Amazon takes from you. It's very easy to sell physical books on your own website, and even easier to sell ebooks. So, the ideal situation is for you to advertise your books on BookYellowPages and sell on your own website. Or just use us as your website and link directly to a checkout page. However, some of you may not want to have your own website and will just send people to your Amazon listing. I am trying to create something that serves authors in a superior way than Amazon but I won't prevent authors from sending book buyers there to purchase. By all means you can list your books for sale here at BookYellowPages and send people to Amazon to make the actual purchase if you want to. I personally think that would be a very stupid decision but you can be stupid if you wish. I think you are just losing money when you do that because you already have the book reader ready to purchase. It is always better for them to purchase directly from you because you get to keep 100% of the money instead of sharing it with Amazon. Plus, you build your customer list instead of allowing Amazon to build its customer list. You want to be the one who offers additional items for sale to your book buyers instead of giving Jeff Bezos the opportunity to sell additional things to the customers that you create for him. Some of you are self-publishers and utilize the services of the many self-publishing service companies that exist. Many of these companies will often list your book for sale on their websites. Another alternative is to list your books for sale here at BookYellowPages and send them to the website of your publishing company. Again, you will usually have to share a portion of the money but it won't be as bad as sharing it with Amazon. Plus, you may be building someone else's customer list instead of your own. It will depend on the self-publishing service company you are using. So, ideally, you list your books here at BookYellowPages and sell them direct to book buyers by sending them to a checkout page, or by sending them to your personal website to purchase. Alternatively, you can list your books here and send them to other third-party sites for them to purchase. It's up to you and you are in control. It's all about giving you the power. If every book author would list their books here instead of Amazon then Jeff Bezos and Amazon would have virtually no power at all in the book industry. The power would be in the hands of book authors where it should have been all along. After all, they are the ones who write the book. They are the educators and entertainers. You become a powerful person when you realize that power doesn't come from working as an individual but instead comes from working as a team with others. When 100,000 authors (or 1 million authors) work as a team and list their books on BookYellowPages then EVERY SINGLE AUTHOR BECOMES POWERFUL. That's a new model for the book industry and I hope the authors of the world will choose to do business with me instead of Amazon because I don't take their book sale money from them and they will be treated better here. TRUST ME - Website traffic is a byproduct of having a valuable website with things for sale that people actually want to buy. When 100,000 or more authors list their books here we too will have millions of website visitors. Our website visitors will be focused on books and only books instead of having 500+ million products to choose from on Amazon. Most of Amazon's website visitors are not there to buy books but ours will be. We can become a well-known and powerful force in the book industry WORLDWIDE but we can only make it happen if we work together as a team. The first step is to invest $197 one time (if you are one of the first 20,000 author advertisers). List ALL of your print books, ebooks, and audiobooks for sale. Then, instead of promoting your personal website where you may sell your books you instead promote this website first. Always send people to your listings here first. This lets book readers know that we exist, and when every author does this it benefits EVERY AUTHOR and will be what creates millions of website visitors to the site. You then will sell your books here with sales copy. When a website visitor wants to purchase your book you then have the option of sending them anywhere you want to. Ideally, directly to a checkout page or to your own personal website, but you can always send them to third-party sites to buy. WHAT CAN BOOK AUTHORS DO ON BOOKYELLOWPAGES - for a one time investment of only $197 for a lifetime account (first 20,000 author advertisers) - You can list ALL of YOUR BOOKS FOR SALE - print books, ebooks, audiobooks - Add important contact information about Yourself - Link to Your Website(s) - where you actually choose to sell your books - Create an ABOUT ME profile - Receive and Respond to BOOK REVIEWS - Let Book Readers Shop - List your Books as well as Coupons and Classified Ads - Add Amazing Informational Content - Articles, Photos, Audios, and Videos (Educate, Entertain, and SELL!) - Ready to Party and Celebrate Your Book Launch? List Your Events - You can even list other items you have for sale besides your books. I'm a nice guy and want to serve you in the maximum way that I can. Perhaps the sale of non-book items can add an additional revenue stream for you. If book readers like you then many will purchase non-book items from you as well. Pretty cool right? Sure beats the ugly and distracting book sales page over at Amazon. BookYellowPages is an ONLINE BOOKSTORE but most importantly it is an ONLINE COMMUNITY of book authors and book readers. WHAT CAN BOOK READERS DO ON BOOKYELLOWPAGES - FOR FREE - Add important contact information - such as your name - Upload Your Photo - Create an ABOUT ME profile - Leave BOOK REVIEWS - Ability to write community ARTICLES - Ability to Bookmark and Save Your Favorite Authors - Potential to SAVE MONEY by purchasing directly from authors NOTE - FREE book reader accounts are for book readers. They are not for book authors trying to get free advertising. That is not only a violation of our terms of service but no intelligent book author would want such an account due to its limitations. As you can see BookYellowPages is a COMMUNITY. A community of book authors and a community of book readers ALL WORKING TOGETHER with major benefits to both. If you are a book reader, and this message makes sense to you and you would rather support the authors who write the books that you read (instead of billionaires like Jeff Bezos of Amazon), then I am calling upon you as well to spread the word and let other book readers know about this website. Never underestimate what a group of people can accomplish together. Ordinary people can win a war against any billionaire in the world as long as there is enough of them working as a team. FREE BONUS FOR BOOK AUTHORS I haven't even shared the best part yet. I know all of the above benefits are great and are worth the small one time investment of $197 (first 20,000 author advertisers only). If you are still in doubt then I know you will feel that this free bonus is well worth the small investment. All book authors will get COMPLETE and TOTAL ACCESS to a private social network called: EntrepreneurYellowPages.com The way to become a smart book author is to connect with, and learn from, other entrepreneurs. This is commonly called a "BUSINESS MASTERMIND GROUP". I prefer to call it a "SECRET SOCIETY of ENTREPRENEURS" because we will share secret knowledge with each other that other entrepreneurs and book authors will not have access to. Mastermind groups usually cost $10,000 or more to belong to. And these are most often small groups of people - often 20 or less. Each person speaks for about an hour and then gets feedback on their businesses. Our mastermind is better than that model and bigger. The internet allows us to learn from more people which enables EACH ONE OF US to become smarter. There is a pretty good chance that there is some mastermind member who knows how to solve any author problem you may have. The value of this mastermind is PRICELESS. I would devalue it by putting a price on it. You get access to it when you choose to become one of my author advertisers. Forums, groups, profiles, ability to connect and chat - just like any other social network platform. You may be able to strike up deals with other entrepreneurs inside of our mastermind group and earn money in other ways besides offering your books for sale. I am one of the good people in the book industry and I hope that you can tell by these words that I am truly here to serve you, the author, and not selfishly serve myself. I hope that you will choose to do business with me, an honest, ethical, and dare I say it, "a moral person". I'm hoping that you are the type of author who wants to do business with good people instead of feeling forced to do business with a billionaire who doesn't have your best interests at heart. I am here to serve you (and your readers). Hope to see you on the inside of BookYellowPages. Hope to teach you some things, and learn some things from you inside of EntrepreneurYellowPages. Hope to meet you in person someday, and shake your hand or give you a hug, and tell you how much I appreciate you and love serving you. Sincerely, Harry J. McKay harry(at)harrysyellowpages.com P.S.
