Description: Amber Brown Collectible Bottles Lot of 3 Liquozone, Certo VINTAGE This listing is for 3 vintage and antique Amber Brown Collectible Bottles. These items were an estate find. They are in the unaltered condition which I found them. They are in good condition, consistent with age. The lot includes:1 – Liquozone (ca. 1890s) Amber Brown Bottle with Cork Style Lipped Opening. The cork is NOT present. One side of this bottle is embossed “LIQUOZONE MANUACTURERED ONLY BY THE LIQUID OZONE Co CHICAGO U S A”. A “4” is embossed on the bottom. This bottle is in very good condition. See below for possible feature marks of antique glass. This bottle measures 8 1/4” tall and weighs 14.6 ounces prior to packaging. 1 – Certo (ca. 1960s) Amber Brown Bottle with a Bail and Wire Style Closure Opening. The bail and wire is NOT present. The bottle is embossed with “For 1/2 Bottle Pour to Here” and "Certo Registered Trademark” and "Made in the USA" along with "6", "5", and "351465" on the bottom. All in block letters. Certo is a fruit pectin made from the skins of pressed apples or citrus fruit and is used for making jams and jellies to ensure they set. Very Good Condition. This bottle measures 5 ¾” tall and weighs 5.4 ounces prior to packaging.1 – Unidentified (ca. Unknown) Amber Brown Bottle with Threaded Closure Opening. The lid is NOT present. There are no markings on this bottle except a “12” and “11” embossed on the base. Very good conditionIt measures 5 ¾”” tall and weighs 4.2 ounces prior to packaging. You may find any of the following non-fracture features or marks on Vintage glassware:FLOW MARK – a shallow line with rounded edges on the underside base. This is caused by a pattern in the mold being interrupted during pressing.SETTLE WAVES – parallel, slightly wavy lines that form a circular shape on the underside base. This is caused by the glass being cooled slightly while still in the mold and before being pressed. MOLD JOINT MARKS – raised rounded lines at the moulds joints (seams). Caused by either glass being forced into the mold seams, too much seam width, the edges of the joints being too polished, or loosened joints in the moulds from being worn by heavy use. TOOL MARKS – grooves or indented lines on the bowls outside smooth surface. This is an area that was reshaped by the glassmaker after the initial mold shape was formed. SEED or BLISTER BUBBLE – Not harmful to the life of this item. Caused by gasses being trapped in the melted glass. COLOR VARIATIONS – base glass colors vary from the standard intended color. This is caused by variations in either the times and temperature during glass production, the melting and fining of the glass batch in the tanks or pots, or from sensitivity of the glass formula materials.
