Description: Excellent original ambrotype of a double armed, Civil War Confederate holding a large Bowie knife and gun. The buttons on his uniform have been painted gold and it appears the gun might have some tinting as well. 6th plate ambrotype in full case, with separated covers. Clear glass ambrotype behind cover glass and mat, with a piece of black velvet in the case behind the image.
