Description: Up for sale are six magazine editions with stories by William Faulkner, well before he had become famous. Four were published in H.L. Mencken's literary magazine The American Mercury, from July 1930 to February 1932. The story "Dry September" is found in Scribner's magazine from January 1931, though not mentioned on the cover. The American Mercury editions are in very good condition, with the binding still tight. The first Scribner's is pretty good, with the binding intact, though a small piece of tape supports the lowest portion. The second Scribner's is a larger format in very nice condition, with no defects. This is a rare opportunity for all Faulkner fans and collectors to get six different stories from their first publication date. Titles: * That Evening Sun Go Down * Honor * Hair * Centaur In Brass * Dry September * Monk Shipping via FedEx Ground fully insured and properly packaged. No international sales, please.
