We will try that next year! If you are looking for large, juicy fruit - you will probably be disappointed. Seeds make up the majority of the fruit, with little bits of pulp in-between. There is no shaking an older Persimmon Tree! They are stout! We collect the fruit once it drops to the ground. Sometimes we find persimmons, sometimes we find piles of seeds. The native wildlife love to snack on the little fruits. These seeds are from fruit harvested from our farms. 2024 is a great year for Persimmon's in the Florida Panhandle.
