Description: An interesting Wileman Foley China (Shelley) Nursery Ware Mug. C.1895+. Transfer printed nursery ware mug depicting 2 children trying to feed a cow in a field. Gilt trim. White ground. The back stamp is the 1895-1910 mark. Dimensions: diameter of mug base 70mm (2.75 inches) / diameter across top of mug 70mm (2.75 inches) / height of mug 70mm (2.75 inches). Condition: In very good clean condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. Some minor rubbing to the gilding around the top rim commensurate with age. The mug has a very good "ping" to it when lightly tapped.
