Description: Analog Devices MAX86150 Evaluation Kit (MAX86150EVSYS#) provides a proven platform to evaluate the MAX86150 Integrated Photoplethysmogram (PPG) and Electrocardiogram (ECG) Bio-Sensor Module. The MAX86150 Evaluation Kit includes a Microcontroller Board and a Sensor Board. The Microcontroller Board houses an MCU with preloaded firmware, BLUETOOTH® connectivity, and power management. The Sensor Board includes the MAX86150 Bio-Sensor Module and two stainless steel dry electrodes for ECG measurement. The Evaluation Kit is powered by an included lithium polymer battery, which is charged with a micro-USB cable.The Windows-compatible EV Software for the MAX86150 Evaluation Kit provides a Graphical User Interface (GUI) to interact with the MAX86150EVSYS hardware and visualize the measurement data. Three main GUI pages are Device Info, ECG and PPG Evaluation Kit, and Register Map.The Device Info scans for connected devices and displays the software, firmware, and hardware versions. The PPG and ECG Evaluation Kit gives control of device register settings, displays live sensor data, and allows data logging. ECG and Filter Settings control the registers corresponding to the ECG Analog Front End. The EV Software also enables firmware updates to be flashed to the Microcontroller on the MAX86150 Evaluation Kit via the included Pico Programming Adapter. ECG, PPG, and simultaneous ECG and PPG can be measured using the MAX86150 Evaluation Kit. When monitoring is active, the Maxim Integrated MAX86150 Evaluation Kit (MAX86150EVSYS#) uses IR Proximity Mode to detect the user's fingers, and a red LED will turn on when a finger is near the module.
