Bisse was an English Divine. He was made prebendary of Colwall in the church of Hereford in 1731, and he also held the rectories of Cradley and Weston in Herefordshire. He was a frequent and an eloquent preacher, and several of his occasional sermons were published; the one of the most permanent reputation is ‘The Beauty of Holiness in the Common Prayer, as set forth in four sermons preached at the Rolls Chapel.' The sermon bound in is scarce in the original edition and there are only a few of the actual printing in libraries. Very Good.
