Professionally linen backed which is a process where the poster has been deacidified and then placed on top of a sheet of acid-free rice paper, which is in turn mounted onto cotton duct (due to the high cost of real linen it is rarely used today). Linen backing is a conservation process particularly useful for higher value and older items. There has been some restoration work performed on these posters, such as removing of foldlines.
