Description: Nice antique iron & tin mechanical eggbeater in great original condition from an early Pennsylvania collection. The early eggbeater is well formed with lots of interesting details. The cast iron gear are marked "Taplin Co. New Britain, CONN." and there is a patent date of Nov. 24, 08. The early eggbeater is about 13" high and works appropriately. Expect to see signs of normal use and some very light rust. This is a very nice still quite usable kitchen collectable.
