Description: German bisque head baby doll in factory-original condition....c. 1915-1920....clearly marked "Heubach Koppelsdorf 300"....approximately 16" in length....behind is stamped "MADE IN GERMANY"....very good, untouched condition....bisque head is excellent with no damage of any kind....please note that the line on the back of the head is a factory flaw, not a crack, and has a build-up of flesh-colored paint along it (see last four photos)....it is a production flaw, similar to "straw" marks in early American pattern glass....blue glass sleep eyes retain original eyelid wax and the original plasters from the factory....five-piece body has original paint and retains some of the red outlining between the fingers and toes....body has some of the usual cracks in the composition coating, however nothing serious....one pinky toe is missing....stringing is good and poses well....from a non-smoking and pet-free home....please study all photos, feel free to ask questions, and be sure to check out my other interesting antique auctions!
