A LARGE statement piece with a weighted base - a true antique from the late 1800's by Manhattan Brass Co, New York, USA. Solid brass, converted from oil to electric at some point in its amazing life, and working great. It has a subtly polished finish to the brass, with a hint of patina from the past decades. The oil font is still removable as an extra talking point. ;) The wick knobs are marked "M.B. Co. New York" and there are now switches on the bottoms of each light for easily turning on and off. No gouges or large dents in the brass - just a few small dings in the font and normal patina marks here and there on the brass of the lamp (see closeups - these only add to the antique personality of the piece). The glass shades have no chips or cracks. The lamp uses two standard-base light bulbs up to 60 watts, or use LED bulbs for any brightness you like, as they use low wattage. Light bulbs not included.
