This sweet little keeping bag is hand sewn from very rare antique 1876 centennial peace shield calico fabric that was rescued from the back of an old quilt. It's the best brown patriotic design paying tribute to the 100 years of American freedom. It is 148 years old and not the recent repro stuff that you can find in some quilt shops these days so it has some wear and old spots as expected of an early textile of that era. It's the original old fabric that was made back when Americans were celebrating their freedom and a lot of sewing was going on to make beautiful quilts and dresses and other needfuls to represent what this country was built on back then. This sweet little drawstring bag is sewn with antique cotton thread and measures about 3 x 5 inches. It keeps 13 antique clay marbles of all sorts and sizes in it including a nice blue star shooter.
