Description: Antique Bryce Higbee & Co Blue Slag Glass Owl Personal Creamer, made in Pittsburgh, PA, 1885. The little pitcher is EAPG - Early American Pattern/Pressed Glass and has very detailed designs of the owl, his plumage and tallons on the front and leaves and vertical ribs on the sides and back around the handle. The handle is "D" shaped and is ribbed as well. It stands 3 1/2" tall, is 3 1/4" from the handle to the spout and is 2" across. It has a 2" diameter round base. It is a little over 2 1/2" deep on the inside and will hold 2 fluid ounces. The owl previously had rhinestone or stone eyes but they are no longer on it, just the remnants of the glue that held them in place. They can easily be replaced. There are some tiny flea bites/rough spots on the bottom edge from use but is otherwise in excellent undamaged condition. Pretty little piece of art glass that is functional or great to simply display.
