Description: This antique Bible is a unique piece of history. Made in Minneapolis, Minnesota, but translated into the Danish language, it is an indication of the strong Danish influence in that area of the country. Its leather cover, though worn, still adds to its charm and character. Published by Augsburg Publishing House in 1884, it measures approximately 7 inches by 4 inches and is 1.5 inches thick with 280 numbered pages. It contains both the new and old testaments and some additional information at the end, including 3 maps. The Bible is in fair vintage condition. The covers are worn down to the leather in many places, the pages have yellowed, a few are dog-eared, and some have writing on them. However, the binding is still tight, and there are no tears. Despite its age, it is fairly well preserved. Please refer to the attached pictures.
