Description: This Omega watch was a gift to my mother's father in 1913 from his parents. I can wind the watch and it runs - haven't figured out how to change the time yet. Good vintage condition. The numbers are arabic ones. There is a secondary dial at the bottom, I think it is called a chronometer. The watch runs as I've wound it several times. The inner workings indicate it is 17 jewel, adjusted. There is a serial number on the workings, 2188267. The case is what I believe is called a full hunter -- it covers both the front face and the back and opens like a clam shell. The case is gold filled, Crescent Watch Co case, The number on the case is 1862267. I've dated the watch's production from around 1901. It was gifted in 1913,the rear watch cover is engraved "From Father & Mother to Howard" and the front of the case is engraved 1913. It was purchased from a no-longer-existant jewelry store in Batavia, NY, Austin A Prescott Jewelers, and that is stamped on the interior of the case. The case is worn but it is intact, and stays shut.If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask and I'll do my best to provide the information you wish. Oh - the watch face measures 40mm in diameter. Thank you for looking.
