The original bearings in the folding mechanism were replaced. The frame and arms are all original. The original paint was removed the old school hard way so no sandblasting. This preserved the impressive side frame details. This is a very special piece that took a lot of time to restore with loving attention to detail. This is a great opportunity to get a special one of a kind amazing theatre seat. It is amazingly comfortable as well. Please note that this seat was in a theatre, so the rear is shorter than the front so if using in a flat(not inclined floor) you will need to block up the back about and inch or two.
