Description: Up for consideration is a fine old Antique Old Blue Painted American Pine cupboard/box/dry sink. It stands about 47.5 inches in height with a width of 40 inches and a depth of 18 inches the top of the outer edge measures 24 inches from the ground. Overall it is a great old piece that has a lot of folky charm... The bottom part is open and accessible by removing a drop in board and may have been used as grain storage. The drop in work surface looks to be added later. The previous owner was an advanced collector and used it as a piece to display decoys, carved birds and stoneware. It is from a clean nonsmokers estate of which she purchased it in the mid 1970's as such. It has great old surface with textured alligatoring...etc...exposing a red coloration underneath. You can see the good honest coloration around the edges and the gentle smooth natural wear along the edges...If you have any questions or something to share please message me...
