A young man entertains a group of four adults around a large table showcasing his roping skills. With his right hand above his head the rope flies as he leans back clearly quite proud of his ability. The wonderfully dressed men and women sit with smiles on their face clearly being entertained themselves. The interior shows a large oil painting on the wall top left, tall carved chair backs and a few pieces of sterling silver sitting on the tables top. This unsigned painting is executed in oil on canvas board and measures 16 x 24 inches. The painting shows edge wear from a previous frame, is overall slightly bowed and shows minor scuffs, scrapes and other surface imperfections. Well executed the painting is pretty thickly applied and is less refined in execution than one would expect. It is an overall very charming and interesting antique oil painting.
