Description: A beautiful cabinet card found in the estate of the photographer for Clearwater Florida for over 60 years, George Fulmer. Not sure why this one was there, as there was no documentation with it at all. George did not take this photo, but it was found there. Many people had left photographs in his care over the years. Excellent condition So our other listings for more from the estate!! ONE OF A KIND PHOTO George Fulmer. Photographer for the city of Clearwater for over half a century. Also a Navy enlisted photographer during WW2. After cleaning out the residence & studio in 2014, we have been sorting through over 100,000 photographs for the last 10 years, and are finally offering some of the best ones up for sale individually. As the estate gains recognition and momentum here, we will begin to list more and more, some in sets, and some for auction as well. We hope to Bring recognition to his life's work as well as to find homes for the history of an entire city as documented by the city photographer. The photographs include everything you would've expected a city photographer to have been present for, from weddings, to new construction, aerial photographs, sporting events, school events, press photography, police, Jaycees, and a really nice , but VERY LIMITED collection of nude photographs from a nudist camp that is still in operation here today. Even more limited, there were a handful of war photographs and film that we were able to save, but it was not much as unfortunately for some reason, he had stored the war photographs outside where they were exposed to the weather, and sadly they had been completely destroyed. The photos that are being offered here were well preserved, found inside the home and studio, in a cool, dry, cellar type setting.
