Description: A beautiful 1930`s ornate Victorian or Art Nouveau style 5 candle style light chandelier fully restored, rewired and refinished in antique metallic and polychrome coatings. The ornate designs incorporate mythical sea creatures or dolphins, scrolled leaves and drapery effects. Restoration involved complete disassembly and cleaning. All old and worn cloth wire was removed and replaced with new safe lamp wire. The original antique candle type sockets were removed and replaced with new sockets when rewired. The ornate casting features beautiful detailed and textured designs. Metallic finishes and colors used in the restoration were hand applied to closely reflect the original finishes and colors. The chandelier is a chain hung fixture measuring 27 inches in total length. The chain portion of the total length is 8 inches and can be shortened upon request. The fixture mounts to the ceiling thru its original brass canopy and a new cross bar and threaded lamp rod. The bulbs are just for the photos and are not included. They are ornate bulbs and not glass globes.
