Antique Adams Pearlware Plate c1830 England Staffordshire Roses 8.5”W

Description: Beautiful antique, circa 1830-1840s English William Adams pearlware plate. It is a lovely example of English ceramics of the epoch, made by William Adams, Tunstall & Stoke, Staffordshire. Decorated in hand-enameled red Adams Rose pattern it is marked with an Impressed makers mark - Adams on the reverse. Impressed 'Adams' or 'Adams & Co' marks occur on various wares from 1785. Measures approximately 8.5" inches wide. Condition:  Wear to decorations and enamels, wear and blemishes around the rim and the underside. Wear to enamels and signs of age near the rim. Use related marks and scratches: No large chips noted. Production related flaws, some scabbing around the rim. Otherwise good antique condition considering the age. INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS – I am happy to work with international clients, but please be advised that there could be VAT import taxes and tariffs that maybe be due to you when your item arrives. These additional charges are based on an individual country’s import laws and eBay sellers have no control of it. It is always good to check with your country’s customs. Because most of my items are extremely fragile, I use larger boxes with extra padding and most of the times “double box”. Shipping costs are based on the size and weight of a box and could be higher due to packaging. RETURNS:  Accepted within 14 days after the purchase is. Items must be returned in exactly the same condition they were received in and in their original packaging.
