Description: These indicators were removed from a Chicago building in the 1970's. My father in law was an electrician for Westinghouse elevators and he removed these lights while doing work on a building elevator system (Unfortunately, he passed away and we do not know what building they came from). When first removed, they were covered in paint (Not sure who made that decision). He stripped the paint and uncovered the beautiful copper plated cast iron. The lights will need to be rewired, but have complete internals, you will only need to add wires. Three of the globes appear to be original and are thick glass. The fourth globe is a replacement and is made with thinner glass. These antique sconces rare find for any architecture enthusiast. The cast iron/copper plated elevators indicators lights are a beautiful pairing that will add a touch of vintage charm to any room. The gold color and intricate details make this sconce a unique addition to any collection. Crafted in the 1900s, this antique original is a salvage piece that has been preserved to its original glory. The large size and unique style make it a statement piece that will draw attention to any space. Perfect for those who appreciate the beauty of antique architecture, this sconce is a must-have for any collector.
