Description: Style Art Nouveau Technique moulded Majolica Maker Henry Richard's Date 1903 Size 5 7/8 x 5 7/8 A stunning and very unusual design it looks like the water lily has wings it fills the tile to all four corners I had never seen this design with this type of border until finding these. They were found in a washstand left in a loft space after a house move. Since writing this I have found many others online but they all seem to have many manufacturering flaws and condition is poor. So this is rare especially in this condition. CONDITION is excellent with just a tiny amount of rubbing on the top left and bottom corner and some light crazing which is often found on tiles of this age. It has a nice clean back with the reg no 408377 and embossed England. The back has one chip on one corner but this can not be seen from the front. Please check the photo's carefully as this forms part of the description. This is a little work of art made by British craftsmanship. To my overseas buyers I use ebay's global shipping so please check the shipping cost before purchasing. If you have any queries please feel free to message me. I HAVE ANOTHER TWO LISTED IN SIMILAR CONDITION. I take great care when packing all my tiles to ensure a safe delivery. Thank you for taking the time to browse.
