Description: This antique Arts and Crafts book trough is a quality piece in quarter-sawn (tiger) oak, with a pleasant deep golden colour and good original finish. The grain is quite beautiful, and the squashed hearts on the handles and elongated hearts at the sides give it a very Liberty of London character. This piece is in a good antique condition, with only normal signs of age and use. Please note some minor splitting at the top internal sides, where the original fixng pins have shown through the oak, a very common issue on these book troughs for some reason. measures 30" high, 20.75" wide and 9" deep at maximum..
