Description: Offered is an incredibly detailed cold-painted bronze figure of a male bulldog in the rarely seen sitting position. This bulldog is un-signed, and its age and origin are unknown, but judging by its artistry, I believe that it is from Vienna, Austria. He is 3" tall, 3.5" long, 2" wide and weighs 1 lb. 4 oz. There are two slightly - raised "rough" spots on his back where the patina has been polished away on one of them over the years. I believe that they are artifacts of production rather than damage but please judge for yourself. The detailed patination of this bronze is magnificent, and he is wonderful in hand.
