ANTIQUE CARVED OAK CLOSET FRONT BUILT IN ARMOIRE BUTLERS PANTRY ~101 x 102

Description: Description This is a magnificent piece that was salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian Home. It was originally located in the Master Bedroom as a built vanity with his and hers closets to either side.It is made of quarter sawn oak and is unpainted. The center section is recessed, backed with a beveled mirror with a washstand below. There are 4 drawers below the wash stand. To either side are the doors to access the closet areas. Each door has a beveled mirror in the middle with flat wood panels above and below. All the mirrors and wood panels are framed in ornate egg and dart molding. There is a drawer below each door. The 4 legs are fluted and topped with corbels having carved acanthus leaves on the faces. The pediments at the ends have large turned finials, Eastlake spoon carved crowns and corner brackets. The central pediment has a carved spandrel, carved festoons carved starbursts and ornate moldings. Magnificent piece. It measures 101.25 inches wide, 102.5 tall and is 16.75 deep. It disassembles to load into a cargo van or pick-up truck. This is a face only, the closet areas do not have backs or outside sides.Overall it is in very good condition. There are misc scratches and dings as it is antique. There are a couple pry marks from removal. There is a chip below the left drawer. The drawer pulls are incomplete. One of the central drawers is missing but I can send a replacement oak drawer that might need to be cut to size. Another drawer has the face only. Please look at the pictures carefully. In spring and fall we go from Pennsylvania to Atlanta, over to Houston, up to Kansas City and St. Louis then up into Iowa, Chicago and home through Michigan and Ohio. Trips to NYC and New England are as needed. We can personally deliver if you are somewhat close to these routes much cheaper than freight or uship.
