Description: Description This is a magnificent piece that was salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian Home. It was originally located in the Master Bedroom as a built vanity with his and hers closets to either side. It is made of walnut and is painted. The recessed center section has a medicine cabinet faced with a beveled mirror. Below is a slate top washstand with a drawer and cabinet faced with 2 doors. To either side are the closet areas each faced with a door that had full length mirrors (both mirrors missing). There is a drawer below each door. The 4 legs have fluted pilasters topped with carved corbels. Pediments across the top have Eastlake spoon carved brackets, crowns, raised panels and ornate moldings. The bedazzled strips roughly show the outlines of the Eastlake spoon carvings, they can easily be removed. Magnificent piece. It measures 108 inches wide overall by 105 inches tall and 19.75 deep at the sink lip. It disassembles to load into a cargo van or pick-up truck. This is a face only, the closet areas do not have backs or outside sides. Overall it is in good condition. There are misc. scratches and dings as it is antique. It could use a good cleaning. There are some light cracks and chips. 1 drawer is missing its bottom. 4 of the door hinges will need to be replaced. It will need some love but it is pretty intact.
