Description: Description This is a magnificent piece that was salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian Home. It was originally located in the Master Bedroom as a built vanity with his and hers closets to either side. It is made of either cherry or mahogany and is painted. The center section is recessed, there is a mirror at the top (sitting to the side) with a marble top washstand and under mounted porcelain sink bowl and 3 piece backsplash below. The bottom has 2 drawers with a small cabinet below, one of the cabinet doors is missing. To either side are doors, each having a full length beveled mirror framed in reel and bead molding. The 4 legs have carved pilasters trimmed in reel and bead molding with carved corbels at the top. The pediments across the tops have multiple ornate moldings, some carved. Magnificent piece. It measures 115 inches wide by 102.5 inches tall by 19.5 deep. It disassembles to load into a cargo van or pick-up truck. This is a face only, the closet areas do not have backs or outside sides. Overall it is in good condition. There are misc. scratches and dings as it is antique. It could use a good cleaning. The 2 small drawers below the sink will need to be rebuilt. There is wood loss to the legs where the door hinges are located, these areas will need to be patched to properly support the closet doors. Please look at the pictures carefully. Ref: 62143 Shipping We have a 16 foot box truck for salvage jobs and delivery trips. We generally make delivery trips along the I-85 and I-95 corridors to central Florida and the Florida panhandle in January. In spring and fall we go from Pennsylvania to Atlanta, over to Houston, up to Kansas City and St. Louis then up into Iowa, Chicago and home through Michigan and Ohio. Trips to NYC and New England are as needed. We can personally deliver if you are somewhat close to these routes much cheaper than freight or uship. Outside these areas it would be best to check uship.com for delivery quotes. Payment Payment should be made within 5 business days unless you make other arrangements in advance. Terms of Sale I accept returns only if my description is inaccurate. For example, if I pull an item from a building that I believe to be original to the house and it is later discovered to be a reproduction, or if I enter an incorrect measurement, I will allow the buyer to return the item. I describe all my items as accurately as possible with descriptions and often pictures of any damage. I try to measure within 1/8 of an inch. About Us My salvage business was born of necessity in 1993 when I started restoring an old Victorian home that had seen better days. I needed doors, staircase parts, fireplace mantles and more, so I contacted the owners of a few local buildings that were scheduled for demolition. I found and purchased all of the things that I needed for my project and lots of extra treasures which I eventually resold. 17 years later this is still my full time job! I salvage whatever I can think can be reused as long as there is room in my warehouse. The warehouse is open for treasure hunting anytime by appointment. Just contact me to schedule a day and time! Thanks for visiting. Steve and Michelle
