Description: Antique child's school desk. It has a cast iron base with a wooden seat and desk. It is marked "O.D. Case & Co. Hartford Conn. Patented June 10, 1879". It is also marked "6 1/2" which I assume is the size. Overall height is about 24". The desk platform is about 17.5" x 12". Condition is as seen in photos. Scratches ,dings, rust spots, and other wear. The cast iron brackets that support the desktop are both broken - one is just missing the last 1/2" or so, but the other is missing about 5" (see last 2 photos).
