Description: Offering a pair of antique, tiny black satin embroidered with pink flowers, Lotus slipper shoes from China. These little shoes were made for rich ladies whose feet had been bound. This antique pair has a body of black satin with intricate pink floral embroidery. There is an abundance of hand stitching throughout, including the soles. The black satin fabric is worn, some embroidery is loose and there are a few spots of age discoloration. The pair were kept together over the decades with some string and I have left them that way.
