Description: Antique Broad Street Works Plate This is a stunning flow blue earthenware plate by Broad Street Works. Identified in the Ridgeway Pattern book as Pattern 3/997 and described as "Clarendon Earthenware. Print- Rock & Panel in flowing blue". The plate is 10.5" in diameter with a scallop edge. Beautiful brown and blue coloring in the design. I do not know the exact age of this pattern but definitely 19th Century. I have done my best to describe this piece but I am not an expert in antique china. Regardless, this is a very nice example of 19th Cent. Broad Street earthenware. Condition: Good pre-owned, vintage condition. Heavy crazing. There is a chip on the underside of the rim that has caused a 2" crack. Should be able to see it in photos. There is also a very small surface chip on the front of the plate near the rim by that crack. See photos for details.
