Description: This Doulton Lambeth syrup pitcher was made before the issuance of the 1901 royal warrant that added the “royal” to the company name. I believe the mark places it’s production between 1869 and 1872. Made of high-quality stoneware, this set is perfect for collectors and those who appreciate unique and original pieces. Pitchers are adorned with a charming hunt pattern in brown. Pitcher is decorated in low relief with English tavern scenes. Gloss glaze over brown toned stoneware. No damage noted. Looks like an early piece. See the photos for details and condition. Photos are part of the description. Please contact me with questions before bidding/purchasing.
