Description: *FRESH TO THE MARKET from My Personal Collection* Circa 1901 Antique 6-1/4" Ruffled Opalescent Rose Coraline Spatter Celery Vase with Inverted Thumbprint Pattern After extensive research, I found this beauty in 2 different reference books. Carwile states that this is likely a Northwood product in his book on Opalescent Glass; however, this item is also shown in the Dugan/Diamond book by Heacock, Measell and Wiggins. Another website also attributes this piece to Dugan. Presents beautifully. Has pastel multi-color applied frit to the exterior, with a raised interior. It is just as I purchased it 30 years ago and has been in my showcase ever since. No chips, cracks or repairs. There is a faint water haze just under the ruffle.
