Description: Description: 7-17-12-12EAPG Footed Square Compote with Lid, Adams NR75, AKA Post, Square Panes, made in the United States between 1882 and 1887.This tall glass compote with a lid is about 133 years old- It has a pastel lavender tone – I do not if this by design or because age.This antique piece has a unique square shape on the top section as well as on the base which has four feet or little legs. A distinct square shaped finial or knob is on the top of the lid. The center pedestal section is square as well giving it an all over square look - a unique design. It measures: 10.25” tall to the top of the knob on the lid x 5.50” square.Weighs almost 3 lbs.Good antique condition, tiny chips on the edges of the 4 feet and lid rim that holds it in place scratches in one panel. Bubbles and other old glass irregularities in a 133 year old piece.
