Description: Antique Edwardian Mahogany & Maple Inlaid Shell Rectangle Serving Tray w/HandlesThe tray is in very good condition with light scratching from age and use and no chips or cracks. It's shape is unique as most of these I've found are oval. One of the raised wooden boarders is a bit loose on one end but is still held securely. The solid brass handles are a little loose, but could probably be tightened if you poke through the red felt lining on the bottom (You can feel the indentation for the screw's holes). The felt on the bottom has two little tears and wear from age and use. It's large, measuring 20" long and 15" wide. The handles make it 2" high. It weighs over 4 lbs. It was hard to photograph because the surface it so polished and glossy. See Pics.
